Random Fact #6: What the suits in a deck of cards represent

Each of the suits on a deck of cards represents the four 
major pillars of the economy during the middle ages. The "Hearts" represented the Church, the "Spades" represented the military, 
the "Clubs" represented agriculture, and the "Diamonds" represented the merchant class.
